JEDNYM GŁOSEM
The multicultural choir Jednym Głosem (“With One Voice”) was founded in Kraków in August 2022. It is here that the paths of the choir’s members—hailing from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine—intertwine. Though they arrived in the capital of Małopolska for different reasons, they joined the choir for one shared purpose: the joy of singing together and sharing that joy with others.
The choir is built on principles of equality and openness to others. Jednym Głosem sings in many languages and musical styles, discovering—amid the diversity of vocal traditions from around the world—the unifying power of collective singing.
Their broad repertoire spans pop, jazz, gospel, and traditional music, performed in a variety of languages, including English, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Georgian, Polish, Russian, and Ukrainian.
In 2024, the choir’s activities include:
-
The concert “In the Beginning, There Was Song” at the Podgórze Cultural Centre, Kraków
-
A performance at the Polish Pavilion at La Biennale, Venice
-
Participation in the Seghizzi International Choral Competition, Gorizia
-
The stage production “With Song Across Europe” at the Pinokkio Theatre, Łódź
The ensamble is conducted by Stanislav Klian—a graduate in contemporary cultural management, choral conductor, ethnomusicologist, and vocal coach, with extensive artistic experience across Europe.
His initiatives also include the Comunanza project (2022), folk dance and singing workshops for residents of Tursi (Italy, 2023) and Scalea (Italy, 2024). In 2021, he directed the musical “Taka miłość” (“Such Love”) in Minsk.
